Ways to Reduce & Manage Stress

Stress is one of the worst contributing factors in dis-ease today. It is the result of our emotional reactions to certain stimuli or situations that we are faced with daily. This manifests in the physical body over time; sometimes quickly and sometimes taking years.

Everyone at one time or other will create stress and in so doing will weaken their body's immune response system that will show up in varying degrees and in certain circumstances, create dis-ease. In some cases, the stress mechanism in the body is a cry for much needed rest, relaxation and restoration to bring back balance to the immune system. In others, a more serious approach may be required.

Learning to listen to ones body by tuning into what your stressors are, can help alleviate and even prevent dis-ease in your life. YOU are the governance of Your Body and therefore YOU have the control of how you can lessen your load. Listen to Your Body, it will usually tell you what it needs...

Stress reduction and prevention can be found in simple ways such as taking a relaxing bath, going for a walk, meditation, tai-chi / qi-gong, yoga to name a few.

My challenge to you is to find something that speaks to you and incorporate into your daily / nightly routine and see how you feel. You might just thank yourself for it!
